Autoscooper’s safety architecture does not rely on a single sensor.
In addition to infrared monitoring, the system includes active anti-pinch response and a mechanical rotation limiter. Even in the unlikely event of sensor disruption, structural safeguards remain in place.

No. The cycle starts only after your cat has left. If your cat comes back, the sensors pause the machine. For AutoScooper 12 Lite: Six infrared pairs watch the entrance. Four Hall sensors track the drum. A 30° limiter and anti-pinch protection stop the cycle if your cat steps close.
For AutoScooper 12 Lite, automatic mode is intended for cats over 3 lb and older than 6 months. Use manual mode for smaller or younger cats and for pregnant or nursing cats, as directed in the model guide. Start a manual cycle only when the cat is away from the unit. Follow the guide for your specific model.
If re-entry is detected, the drum stops instantly.
