This litter box is a GAME CHANGER! I have two cats and even with two regular litter boxes, I was having to clean out their boxes often. The ammonia smell got to me and if I got behind on cleaning the kitty litter boxes, one of my little gremlins, pictured below, would poop outside of the litter box…I have had two of these automatic litter boxes for 4 months now and it has changed my life! I can go a couple of weeks, or more without touching their litter and there are draw string plastic bags that are included which make taking the litter out a breeze. The sensor dumps the litter right after its used by a cat and if the cat does try to go back in, the sensor resets so my kitties don’t get harmed. I do buy light weight litter and don’t know how the machine would do with the heavy stuff. They are rather large but so worth it in my opinion.

This litter box has been so nice. Our little kitty was interested in it at first but we struggled to get her to use it. Finally after adding some old litter she started using it and it has made it where we do not have to scrape out waste from her on a daily basis. She seems to like the litter box more than a regular box. With our old litter box we always had litter getting thrown out of the box and a dog that liked to get into it. Now with this new automatic one our dog does not have time to get into it and the litter stays in the box better. There is also a nice mat that goes in front of it that helps if any litter does splash out. I'm not sure of the exact timing but after our kitty uses the litter box it will rotate automatically and dump the waste into the lower container. It is so nice because we can just pull the drawer out and dump it. It comes with a bunch or replacements bags when we need to replace them. It has a really nice look and looks a lot better than our older regular litter box. This thing is well worth the money if it lasts. We hope we get a lot of years out of it. It has spoiled us and I don't think we could ever go back to a basic litter box again.

It does a great job with the sensors to stop once it picks up motion either when leveling or dumping. And if your cat gets curious when it's turning over to dump it still senses them and will pause.The "dump tray" glides easily, the bags are super simple to change, and it holds plenty! It also contains the smell until it's exposed, obviously. But there is no smell, anyone who comes over, even other cat owners don't smell anything and this thing sits in my livingroom! Do remember to check the tray and empty it, there is not an indicator to tell you it's full.

Great for a medium to large cat ours is around 15lbs. Only wish it would help my cat from kicking litter out but I honestly think nothing will he just does it for fun. I purchased this after I ended up with a 2nd cat. It worked great for the 2, then ended up with several kittens they used this box right away and prefer it over the regular litter box. But with more then 2 cats and you definitely need more then one machine. Also, the machine doesn't understand when a new cat enters into the box to potty after it has started the clean cycle, so when the 2nd cat exits it just completes the already paused 1st cycle, not giving enough time for the litter to absorb the fresh poop or pee. This causes a smeared mess, especially if your cats poo is soft. Another thing people claim os you can go a week or 2 without removing g the waste. I would not suggest that. Not only will you start to smell it but flies and gnats will make their way into the waste bin. I like this box even with the few issues the came up and will be getting a second one, possibly a third. It's pretty much put together right out the box other then putting the legs on.

I love this automatic literbox. I previously returned one of the more expensive enclosed ones because it kept erroring. This is simple to setup and easy to operate. Great litter box, but your cat may not adapt to it right away. Patience is the key, it may take weeks! At first, let your cat use it unplugged, put treats around it, then activate the automatic mode only after they get used to it. It is fairly quiet. The sensors work well and it seems very safe. You add litter and the box does the rest--levels it, detects a cat has used the box, dumps the little clump in the bottom compartment, and then is ready for the next use. Love PET PIVOT automatic, litter boxes! I have been a long time fan of litter robots, but after a couple years, they get smelly, no matter what you do, their pinch sensors go, and then you have to replace them, plus they are a lot bigger. I was looking for an automatic litter box that was a little bit smaller, cleaner, and easy to change, when I found pet pivot. I have many cats and I have bought three of these, I love them, they work great! I am just careful about the hole in the back where it dumped the litter. So far the sensors have worked great and stopped the rotating cycle if there is a kitten or cat in there.

He’s 13# and a little over a year old. It’s completely stopped with this magic robot box bc it cleans after they get out so he doesn’t smell his brother enough to flip out. I highly recommend and it’s reduced the litter tracking and the smell!! Holy crap the smell is gone. Super easy to clean and it dumps the litter completely to make it easy to refill. The tray is underneath so it’s super easy to pull out. The whole thing can be easily disassembled and wiped down or sprayed with the hose/powerwash. Easy buttons and instructions.

I love this litter box. I have 2 cats, both american shorthairs about 1 year old. They like to use it back to back or at the same time. I love this litter box. I have 5 cats using it. It has definitely earned its keep. I went from 2 giant litter boxes to this. Granted I have to dump the container every few days, but that is much better than the 2 other boxes. The cat pictured is 80% Main Coon. I have two of these, a 20 pound Feral, and 2 domestic cats. All of them took to this box almost immediately. I was concerned about the big guys being able to fit, but that was not an issue. They have also learned how the cycle works and actually know when the cycle is finished. This is a game changer. I went from 44 pounds of litter every 12 days to 11 pounds of litter in the same amount of time. Granted I have to change the bag every 3 days but that's considerably better than every day scooping 2 boxes daily.

It is a little high, so I added a small step stool next to it to make it easier for him to get in and out. He does kick some of the litter out, but it’s not too big of a deal to me.
